6th of July Cruise on Aventura
Porpoises, sunset and fireworks at sea
Pack your picnic basket, put on some warm clothes and experience the sunset and fireworks at sea on board the wooden ship Aventura.
We head out at 8.30 p.m. while it is still light - here you are almost guaranteed to spot some of the many porpoises that play in the waters of the Little Belt. The captain Henrik will tell you more about the little whales.
Enjoy a glass of wine, while we watch the sun go down. Once it is dark, the sky will be lit up by fireworks from the annual 6th of July show on the ramparts of Fredericia. The fireworks are part of the traditional 6th of July Celebrations in Fredericia.
On the cruise, we will bring along a guide who, from start to finish, will guide you through Frederica's exciting history, the Little Belt's beautiful landscape and of course the dramatic story of the battle of Fredericia on July 6, 1849.
Come along for a unique cruise on the Little Belt and finish your day with a fantastic view from sea.
Don't forget warm clothes for when the sun goes down and be very welcome to bring drinks and snacks to enjoy on board.
This is a danish-guided tour. But the guide will be more than happy, in the inbetween breaks, to guide you through the history of Fredericia, the beautiful scenary of the Little Belt and the Battle of Fredericia the 6 July 1849 in english.
