The museum reopened on 20 May 2015 under the name CLAY Museum of Ceramic Art Denmark.

Watch video on Youtube.

The name CLAY not only refers to the material used for ceramics, but also reaches back to the museum's own history, since the whole idea of the museum back in 1994 arose from the international association of artists CLAY TODAY.

The museum has changing exhibitions, as well as the museum's permanent one and the Treasury Royal Copenhagen.
